Dennis Lynch Appointed New Principal of the Albert N. Parlin School
Dennis Lynch is entering his 10th year within the Everett Public Schools. He began his career in the school district at Everett High School, teaching 9th grade United States History. During the remaining years at Everett High School, Mr. Lynch was the Dean of Students. In his first year as Dean of Students Mr. Lynch served grades 9-12 with a focus on student attendance, engagement, and dropout prevention.
In the years following Mr. Lynch was the Dean of consecutive 12th grade classes, ending his time at EHS as the Dean of the 9th grade class. He is currently the Assistant Principal at the Albert N. Parlin School in Everett.
Prior to his time in the Everett Public Schools, Mr. Lynch was employed for many years by the Massachusetts Probation Department, most of his time at the Suffolk Superior Courthouse in Boston.
Mr. Lynch holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology and Criminal Justice from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, a Master in Education (M.Ed.) in Curriculum and Teaching from Fitchburg State University, and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) in Educational Leadership from Bridgewater State University. He is licensed as a teacher (5-12) and as an administrator (PreK-12).
